I love the evening polarized light on the trees. This picture is almost abstract. My mother would love the colors.

Happy Easter Sunday.
For Mundane Monday #201, my prompt is contrast. I like the contrast of the sunlit leaves behind the dark mystery bird in this picture. This is taken on North Beach yesterday. I am not sure if this is an immature bald eagle or a golden eagle.
Link your contrast photographs or experiment with contrast and I will post links next week.

Another snow picture as the sun rose and things were backlit. The front of the house faces south.
For Mundane Monday #199, my prompt is portal.
When has light and photography and conditions lined up for you to take a photograph that feels like a portal? Did you think of it ahead of time and wait for the perfect conditions or was it a combination of having your camera and a happy accident? Where does your portal lead?
Message your entry and I will list them next week.

Last week’s prompt was shooting the sun.
For Mundane Monday #198, my prompt is shooting the sun. Mostly we can’t get the sun in a photograph, except then sometimes we can. This was taken on Saturday when it was still overcast. As the storm moved on, the light was wonderful, with areas of bright and areas of dark storm cloud.
What photographs have you taken shooting the sun?
Message or link you photograph and I will post them next week. Have an amazing week among the mundane.
