Flowers and prayers for an old friend who is sick. Sending love.
This photograph is also from my hike two days ago. These are broadhead skinks, I am told. Skinks are lizards and their family has 1500+ species. This pair was right by the hiking trail. I tried not to spook them and succeeded. They were still curled there when we walked on.
Good morning! Good spring! I am thankful for the soft pink and green of spring, for new growth, for bird song and goslings, for ducklings and the fierce hummingbirds guarding territory….may you walk in beauty for a part of each day…..
Rainshadow Chorale sang the premiere of Gil Seeley’s Morning Rabbit at our concert last Friday and Saturday. I took this photograph two years ago at WSU in Pullman.
Good morning, rabbit!
For Wordless Wednesday.
We went down to the Kai Tai Lagoon early today to look for ducklings. We found some but we found these first…. any guesses?
