I got flocked a few years ago, to raise money for our high school students. So here is a graduating flamingo, climbing the ladder of the future….
Congratulations to the graduating high school seniors and to all the children finishing one part of school.
Another door, this taken by my daughter,Β of me and a door. We stayed in a cousin’s cabin because our most functional and least ghost occupied cabin was set for a new roof. My cousin kindly let me use their cabin.
My parents helped my aunt and uncle build this cabin. My father talked about it. I have been going to the lake since I was a baby. Now I go about every other year: too far for yearly.
Prayers for an old friend.
I traveled to Maryland to see my son and for some reason it was a reptile trip. Turtles and sea turtles and skinks, both in the wild and in the aquarium.
See the tapered snout? See the netting? Don’t try to pat this one, ok? Snapper….
For the Daily Prompt: taper.
Ok, well, you cannot see the door. Still, I am submitting this to Thursday doors, shot through a door into a bunny nest box. It has been sunny and summer for two days but today it is raining and chilly again. I want to be transported to….
….a portal with warm soft bunnies….
For the Daily Prompt: natty. Those tail stripes! Wow!
For photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #112.
Flowers and prayers for an old friend who is sick. Sending love.
Today is my mother’s birthday and I miss her. She died in 2000. Last night I heard of the death of a 20 year old at my daughter’s college. I am so sorry, for him, his family, his friends.
