Profuse joy, sharing the eclipse and a super blue blood moon…..
I took this through the window, from the MarQueen in Seattle. Early morning, wonderful light.
This is for photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #145: lamps/lamp shades.
I took this on our trip to Seattle. We stayed at the MarQueen Hotel, which was built in 1918 as the Seattle Engineering School. The rooms are small apartments, complete with a kitchen with basic dishes and full size refrigerator. This picture is at breakfast, which was included. I love the old apartments and furnishings. I wake stupidly early, and the attached cafe is very handy.
For Norm2.0’s Thursday doors. Ok, you can’t see the door. And today isn’t Thursday.
Contrarian, ok? Enjoy…..
My daughter and our cat on Easter, 2004.
Buffle, whiffle, sniffle, snuffle… Isn’t bufflehead a wonderful name for a duck?
My guesstimate is around 2000 people in Port Townsend yesterday, huge range of age, race and gender. Stand up, speak up, march and vote!
And my guess is LOW! The PDN estimates 4000: http://www.peninsuladailynews.com/news/thousands-turn-out-for-peninsula-womens-march-in-port-townsend/.
And more women to run for office. Bravo!
For photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #143: chair. Now we have a theme each week and I comb through my photographs. This is in my kitchen. The frame is the objects and my eye moves around the photograph, trying to decide what the focus is. Just a kitchen morning, really.
shhhhhh, don’t speak, listen
listening is holy
