whiskers

For today’s Ragtag Daily Prompt.

The kittens were both two pounds and a bit when I got them. Last Thursday they got their last set of vaccines for a year and they are now both six pounds. They are growing like weeds. My last cat was a small cat. If the stated age was right when I got them, these two are going to be BIG.

Forth

Happy Incendiary Device that Is Not Blowing People Up Day.

Happy Forth of July.

Happy Indigenous People Day.

But earlier in time: Happy Extinct Dinosaur Day.

Remember the Dinosaurs.

The book appeared in my Little Free Library Box. I read about pine siskins today. Mine have left or migrated or something. I miss them, particularly Brave, who would let me stroke him or her.

I am inveigling travel plans, to see an older friend with cancer, this month.

Love to all and be careful with any explosive devices.

happy sister

I am home sick and it looks like it will be a long haul. Months. Sigh.

Anyhow, I am going through photos and found this. I do not know who took it, I don’t think it was me. I have my parents’ photos and they had my maternal grandparents’ photos, or at least it seems like it. Anyhow, I am floating in a sea of pictures.

I love this one. She is so happy.

Hope you are that happy now, sisty.

pink shard

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: shard.

I photographed our local mosaic sculptures and I can’t find the pictures. I just went through 3 years of photographs and it’s making me too sad. Yesterday a patient said, “How are you?” I replied, “Mostly happy with occasional grumpiness.” Sorrow too. So here is a mostly blue photograph with a little pink. Maybe the happiness is the pink in which case I said it backwards.
