For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: connect.
This is my daughter and her cousin in 2010. Living at opposite ends of the country, we had to travel to connect.

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: ripple.
I took this at Lake Matinenda in Ontario, Canada in August.
The theme for Mundane Monday 188 is making a move.
Do you have a photograph or series of shots about making a move?
Princess Mittens is contemplating her move in the first shot. Next:

Mondane Munday 187’s theme was warm:

I took this on Friday morning. The sky was so glorious and changing, a water color in transition. My mother painted watercolors and when I see a sky like this, I wonder if she is up there with a brush. Sending love in this season for everyone who is missing someone.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: squat.
What comes to mind is Taj Mahal’s Squat that Rabbit, a song that always makes me want to dance!
I also want to know what it means. There’s a rather nice discussion at mudcat.org.
The photograph is from the Kinetic Sculpture Festival. And here’s a bonus… Squat that Octopus.

Taken yesterday, a gorgeous sunrise, with a fabulous cone shaped cloud above Mount Rainier. I took this from the Northwest Maritime Center. The sky just got more and more beautiful, until I had to leave for work.
Blessings today.
What do you see on the surface?
What do you dream of in the depths?
What do you show on your surface?
What do you deflect or reflect?
Does the world have a soul? Are we connected to it? If we don’t believe the world has a soul, are we disconnected?Β
Michael Meade’s latest book is Awakening the Soul: A Deep Response to a Troubled World. He is a mythologist, author and runs Mosaic, a program for veterans. He is a storyteller, usually with a drum. He did the sermon… story… at church Sunday. I wrote this thinking about the soul of the world.
why I’m difficult
deep connection
the soul deep
ocean deep
rift and trench
Beloved
forgive my greed
that is the connection

deep soul connection
to the soul of the world
