We might need a guide for the fog river. Or else we should wait for it to clear.

A map of rivers or veins from either very far or very close, a luxuriant topography.

Here is a video I made yesterday, called Slow River Dream: https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/534179153
Enjoy!
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: river.
Both of my kids are water babies, who love the water. The pictures are from 2005, my daughter and her cousin, loving the slip and slide. A home river and water. My daughter went on to seven years of synchronized swimming, four years of swim team and now is racing sailboats in college.
For Wordless Wednesday. (But sort of wordy!)
We hiked part of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal yesterday. It has rained tons in the last week, so the Potomac River is really really high and fast. The Billy Goat Trail is blocked off by the park service, partly flooded and not safe. My daughter pointed out how different the color of the fast river is than our Salish Sound.
It was a gorgeous day, sun, not very warm, birds, tow path and wild rushing river.
For Norm2.0’s Thursday doors: here.
But the buildings are sideways. And there aren’t many doors. No, that’s true, but it’s because the whole thing is a door:
…a door on a van…with a city scape.
For Mundane Monday #176: bones.
This is from the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, in the Port of Debuque, Iowa. We had eight people in two vans, age range from 8 to 75, and drove there from Wisconsin. It was really excellent and something for everyone. A DiVinci exhibition, live alligators, this alligator snapping turtle skeleton, river boats and history.
What bones inspire you? The snapper was about four feet long, beak to tail, and the jaws and beak is very impressive. I’ve seen a pair of live ones in the wild on the outer banks of Virginia.
Link or message your Mundane Monday bone contribution and I will list them next week.

KL Allendorfer finds lines in nature and …. frogs.
Back to San Antonio. I loved the varying bridges over the River Walk. Each has a different design. Some have birds nesting and others are not as preferred. The bridges have multiple designs and supports and the water is always changing. Walking outside renews me because the world changes all the time, changes of fall now at home.
Another angle, but the trees are in the way.
Itchy feathers… now, just hold still and pose for me. This zoom lens wears me out.
Meanwhile, there are the tour barges going by on Riverwalk and lots of people going by on foot and outdoor tables. No one but me is staring at the higher branches of the tree.
