prayers for children

This is my daughter, five years ago, at Lake Matinenda in Ontario. I cried when I read about the baby thrown from the London fire.

Prayers for the children in the London fire and their parents and grandparents. Prayers for the refugee’s children, that they are not lost and drowned. Prayers for the Congresspeople shot yesterday and their families and friends.

Prayers for all the children in the world.

I am home and back at work after a lovely vacation in the Baltimore Washington corridor. I went to the Baltimore Aquarium with my son, two aunts, my uncle and a first cousin once removed and her husband, both of whom I was meeting for the first time. And all the women except me are organists!

The Aquarium is gorgeous. This photo is not that gorgeous….except, wait, who all is there?

I worked yesterday and thought it was Thursday….I seem to have mislaid Wednesday. Jet lag.

Happy feet

This is for photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #111.

Though it isn’t a mundane Monday, is it? I always miss my mother on Memorial Day because her birthday is May 31. The end of May makes me a little sad. She died of cancer in 2000. But…. my feet look like hers.

It’s a selfie with shells and a beach, near fish… A shellfishie….
