I took this with my camera at full zoom and knew I was photographing a bird, but not what bird. I did know there were goldfinches around, because I would spot their flight, up and down like a wave, and heard them. I hold my breath and freeze to try to catch the shot. This worked! Overcoming the disadvantage of distance and my limited vision…. and letting the camera work.
Let us also continue to work to overcome discrimination.
I am trying to catch that distant line of light on the horizon as the light recedes….
….I am so grateful that the basic healthcare requirements will not be dismantled, joy!
….and now on the horizon I hope for vision and light and single payer, medicare for all. My Veteran patients this week are afraid, that Veterans Choice will be taken down. I am afraid too….and still, I hope for vision and light.
This is for photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #68. He has a close up what is it? In response, another photograph from my trip from Washington State to Chicago and up into Michigan by train, in 2014. Distance and light and color. And perspective, which I need today.
