For Saturday six word stories.

For Saturday six word stories.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: smirk.
Visiting friends in Wisconsin in August, we were taken on an evening quick tour of the University of Wisconsin, Madison. There are multiple decorated statues of Bucky Badger on campus. Is the expression a smile or smirk or serious?
I’m a badger too.
For Thursday doors.
The opening of a nest is a door, isn’t it? Two nests decorate a friend’s exquisite garden, with flowers galore. Patches of glorious color.

Someday maybe I will have more gardening time!

Meanwhile, their garden is a door into beauty.

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: slippery.
The front rocks at the lake slope down into the water. The rocks are terrifically slick when it first rains.

They are also slick when we try to step into the lake to swim.

We invented a new way to get in this year. On the edge of the water, go forward a bit and then…

slide in….

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: copyright.
This is my sister being a goofball on Christmas morning in 2010. The puppet was a family gift that we all played with. The Christmas hat is mine. This was after her cancer recurred: she died in March of 2012.
My sister wrote on line. She wrote at everything2.com and a blog: http://e2grundoon.blogspot.com/.
After she died, the people who write on everything2 were notified that another blogger had stolen multiple write ups and posted them on a blog as their own writing. That is a violation of copyright. And it feels particularly painful when it is my sister’s writing, who is dead at 49 from cancer. I do not think nice thoughts about the thief and I hope that the person regrets and makes penance for what they did. Hundreds of write ups were stolen from all sorts of people.
That is what the word copyright brings up. Don’t steal. Don’t steal my work or photographs or my sister’s or anyone else’s….
For Wordless Wednesday.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: crepuscule.
Honestly, my brain wants to mix it up with corpuscle. The poet part of my brain wants to play with both words and is thinking about creepy twilight stories more appropriate to next month. With characters wearing crepe, creeping around, carping about corpses. This is sounding more and more like a Charles Addams cartoon.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: copious, here are photographs from Saturday’s Farmers Market.
These are all of Midori Farm’s gorgeous stand.

They make fabulous kim chee and other fermented vegetables. The best way to get probiotics, from delicious food!

To follow up yesterday’s cat worries, here is Ms Boa Cat. Once I realized that I was looking right at her, I got my camera.

She found her warm place. What ARE the humans fussing about?
For Cee’s Fun Photo Challenge: red. It was the black stripe on the red blanket that hid Ms Boa so well.
