T for turtle
Blogging from A to Z,Β the letter T! T is for turtle and teenage and travel!
On Hawaii we went to a park and saw green turtles. They are born about 1000 miles away on a different island. They travel in the sea and now come to Hawaii to rest. The ones who rest on the beaches are 20 to 140 pounds. As mature adults, they will be 200 to 400 pounds and live back in the sea.
We both have zoom lenses. We are not supposed to go closer than 20 feet.

Welcome to Mundane Monday #157: two for one.
I took this coming out of church two weeks ago. Now we have at least buds on the trees. I was looking for the song sparrow, lower in the tree. When I took the photograph I recognized the bonus: a hummingbird up near the top.
I tried to get a closer shot, but the sparrow moved up and the hummingbird took off.

Another photograph from this morning: a Pied-billed Grebe.
At first it was asleep, reasonably close.
We tried not to wake it, but it quickly alerted. Good morning! What do early humans get? Bird photographs?
