For the Daily Prompt: loophole.
It is the hummingbird that has the loophole. There is a window between Boa Cat and the feeder. She watches from the indoor orchid garden….
Miss Boa Cat, enjoying the winter sun through the windows.
Our loved ones are the center of our Compass Rose.
For the Daily Prompt: compass.
Miss Boa Cat, dreaming of the hummingbird at the feeder. Oh, longing!
Boa Cat is not really black…when the sun hits her fur she has auburn tones. But, ok, don’t mess with her, because most of the time she looks like a black cat. This is just light reflecting from the flash, right?
We’d just like any special powers to stay dormant…
We hiked Mount Zion yesterday. Home, showered, and then rest. No, Miss Boa did not hike, but no one can rest like a cat. We are all delighting in this string of sunny days.
Sunday was one of those amazing May sun days here. I couldn’t stand to stay inside. Boa Cat was out too. She did that cat thing where they stretch to twice their normal length and then played like a kitten.
“The flaming sky ball, how it heats the fur!”
For photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #102, a soft study. Rose pink velvet and soft black fur and textures and curves, even though a photograph is two dimensions.
This is for photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #101, and he has a round theme too. I was trying to get a photograph without all the kitchen chaos background and thought, oh, from above. Cats enjoy symmetry and design. Boa chooses this stool because our old furnace died and is replaced by a heat pump, high on the kitchen wall. The stool is the closest place to the warm air source: when no lap is available.
I am indoors occasionally….
I go to the guest bed to take a nap. I reach for the blanket and touch… fur.Β I recoil. Boa cat wakes and blinks at me.
She looks so warm that I go curl up on the couch.
This for photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #86.
