My son and daughter-in-law’s squirrel feeder. The bucket is full of nuts.

“Are you looking at me? Ok, well, these nuts are fantastic.”
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: fantastic.
Elwha would happily hunt the spider if it was on the inside.
As an amateur spider identifier, I think this is a Cross Orb-Weaver. Here is a site about Washington State Spiders: https://spiderid.com/locations/united-states/washington/. See the Ragtag Daily Prompt for a close up.
Where do the spiderlings go when it snows? Here is Sol Duc exploring the snow very early on the first morning of new snow.
And here is Over the Rhine. The third song includes the line “Let it fall like snow.”
This is taken in the Maryland section of Rock Creek. What a cold and gorgeous day! It was in the low teens and very very clear.
These hands and the other hands that finished this difficult puzzle together on Christmas morning. We even found the missing piece, under my son’s pile of loot! We did start this one two days before Christmas. It’s a stinker.
These hands that make eggs benedict, and hug me, and hug each other. These are some of the things I adore, the owners of these hands.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: adore.
Back to Kingston and the lighted tree was so gorgeous in the early morning dark. I wandered around while I was waiting for the ferry.
I take joy in the birth of the sun each morning and the winter promise of light and warmth and spring.
Joy to you and yours today!
I took this in late September, 2022. In the winter the sun does not rise above the bluff on North Beach.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: birth.
Happy Christmas Eve and I hope people are warm and the power is back on and they are safe.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: yuletide.
Snow blooms?
For Cee’s Flower of the Day.
Whew, the storm hitting in the United States is scary, with the really low temperatures, some people having lost power, and temperatures dropping super fast. Be careful! Here is my house, looking cosy in the snow this week. So far so good with power.

Ok, want to guess what the lights are supposed to be?
Please stay warm and be careful. In the southern states people don’t have the winter gear. I had some patients who were living in homes with no heat, so I hope they can go to a warming station.

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: icicle.
