For Judyβs Numbers Game #6: 127. Many of the photographs that came up are from a trip to the Washington, DC area in 2018, and various hikes there.

A merganser enjoying the winter sun.

The George Washington Parkway, over our heads, as we hiked down a run.

The Potomac River, seen through the trees.

The Potomac River along the Tow Path.

Time to head home as the light fades.

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt terracotta I did a search of old photographs. This came up: my friend Maline’s house. The terracotta colors are gorgeous.
This is Johnny Cash, a friend of mine. He has a feather stuck to his nose. He was being very patient while some work and activity was getting done. I don’t know where he found the feather.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: dog.
“Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver but the other gold.” My parents taught me that round. We sang lots of rounds growing up.
What does the picture have to do with knitting? I knit the hat! I got to hike with old friends from the 1980s last week. They are old friends, not old! Well, we might be getting a little grey.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: knit.
Is it a flower or not?
For Cee’s Flower of the Day.
I joined my daughter in Venice at a hostel two nights ago. I arrived at about 11:30 pm after about 32 hours of travel. Bus, bus, ferry, taxi, plane, plane, plane, bus, walk. At that time of night, karaoke was going strong at the hostel and I felt fairly ridiculous as the lone grey haired person. The next morning revealed I am not the only one.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: ridiculous.
