I took this in 2014 on my return train trip from Chicago to Edmonds, Washington and home.
Early morning, looking across Port Townsend Bay to Indian Island.
I took this photograph this week in the early morning, going downtown for a cup of coffee….
This is for Photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #65. I was out watching the solstice sunrise and these are some of my neighbor’s trees. Everything changes color and takes turns receiving the early angled sunlight. This is a study of light and color and sky.
I took this photograph Friday with my cell phone for Photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #64. The pattern of the drops spreading is beautiful. Just a small thing. And the funny bit is that he posted his picture a few days later…. synchronicity?
Taken this morning at 5:23 am as the sun rose.
I still don’t stay up much past nine most nights, but my young adult offspring talked me into a beach walk the other evening. We went down to Fort Worden and the Point Wilson Lighthouse. The sunset was glorious. I went back to the car for a jacket right away because the water temperature is around 51 degrees. It cools down quickly. The tide was coming in, so we only walked about half a mile, but it was gorgeous. This is looking north from Point Wilson towards Vancouver Island and the San Juan Islands…. over the kelp beds.
Up very early and in my yard: it turns out that my fence is a help to spiders, setting small webs in each metal square. Each web is a small miracle with the sun shining through it and moving in the breeze.
This is for photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #61. What are you trying? Early morning light with snails and bugs…. in my garden….
