Fragrance Lake 2

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: wanderlust.

“And how are you getting back?” I ask my daughter. “Are you going to edge backwards?”

She laughs.

Out on two limbs. Logs. Woman balanced on two logs sticking out into a lake.

Steady….
Ta-da! Woman turned around on logs, to return, arms out!

And she returns without falling in the lake.

eagle angle 8

Here at last are my two star close ups of the eagles. I am standing on the path right below the tree. The eagles are putting up with me with amazing patience. They are so high up that other people are walking right by and not noticing. Take out the earbuds! Look up!

I am submitting both to the Ragtag Daily Prompt: flight.

And thank you, eagles!

beach birding

My daughter and I hiked the beach on Saturday. The eagles were out. We saw three at once, two juveniles and an adult. Earlier we saw an adult flying and a juvenile flying. There were either three or five or more.

I watch for them in the trees. Big dark lumps that the zoom lens can parse. This is at full zoom so we were not close. But we were walking around Point Hudson indirectly closer.

Mundane Monday #194: gull

For Mundane Monday #194, my prompt is gull.

Have you been gulled? Do you see gulls and photograph them? Are you gullible? Do you gull others?

Add your picture or store and tag it Mundane Monday. I will list entries next week. Have a wonderful week and don’t get gulled or fleeced! No one should pull the wool over your eyes!
