My ornamental plums are thinking of spring. They are not quite budding out, not quite.

I didn’t see the Ragtag Prompt fizzy until now! And then thought, oh, what do I have that is fizzy?
The ducks seem fizzy to me.
And the edge of the tide even more so:
With a pale rainbow bonus!
Some of my plants are definitely thinking of spring. My butterfly bush is optimistic.
For Cee’s Flower of the Day.
I do not have much for Cee’s today, but things are starting to bud on land.
This isn’t a flower, is it? But the orange is so bright, even when the sky is grey! So what is it and why so bright?
Clouds two days ago on the Fort Worden Beach. Washington State.

I was back east over the winter holidays. Nine days got added on for an ill friend. I was lucky to be able to change my flight and be able to help. This is the early morning holiday lights on the way to the hospital.

Clouds further blurred by water. Taken in Ontario, Canada in 2012.

Water blur study. Somewhere in Washington.

More water.

Sunrise, a new day, blurry but beautiful anyhow. Mount Tahoma, Washington State.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: blur.
Actually I am not sure if this is a flower. It is a plant attached to a rock, from the Fort Worden beach yesterday. Do seaweeds flower? Some of them do change color at different times of year. This one is wearing fall and winter colors.

NOAA’s What is Seaweed?
Wikipedia says yes, some seaweed flower: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seaweed.
The Ragtag Daily Prompt is limit, as in the sky’s the limit!
I was traveling for longer than I expected, 19 days, and got home this week. Yesterday was the first day I went for a beach walk in a month!
The sky was absolutely beautiful with the sun breaking through.
There was a pale delicate rainbow.

I did not find a clear agate, but there are wonderful rocks.

I think this is a juvenile bald eagle, just hanging in the air and enjoying the sky!
Taken in late November 2022. I think these berries are the ones that the birds don’t eat until they really have no choice. Do they mature slowly by February?
For Cee’s Flower of the Day.
Today I have posted for 366 days in a row, so I am past the one year point. That pleases me. Why do numbers and years and that sort of mark please us so much? I think it is because we do have to pay attention to seasons and when things grow and where food is and what to wear… All of it.
Happy New Year!
The photograph is from one of our local festivals. I will let you figure out which one.
This will cause a punctate wound if we step on it! But the word is not punctate but punctuate! I think my language would be highly punctuated if I stepped on it! Something like #$^&**%#$!
Taken in September in Ohio.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt punctuate.
