Soft colors in the cold morning.
Taken fall of 2016. I was looking for a photograph for today’s Daily Prompt, and found this instead.Β Please permit me to use it.
I took this through the window, from the MarQueen in Seattle. Early morning, wonderful light.
This is for photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #145: lamps/lamp shades.
I took this on our trip to Seattle. We stayed at the MarQueen Hotel, which was built in 1918 as the Seattle Engineering School. The rooms are small apartments, complete with a kitchen with basic dishes and full size refrigerator. This picture is at breakfast, which was included. I love the old apartments and furnishings. I wake stupidly early, and the attached cafe is very handy.
For the Daily Prompt: inkling.
Now I am wondering what I do when I am trying to get that shot….. a contortionist?
For the Daily Prompt: inkling.
We were discussing the ethics of street photography.
I woke up around 3:30 this am, twelve minutes after a tsunami warning on my phone. Stand down, it has been cancelled. But I am glad that people were alerted, with the earthquake deep in the waters off Alaska.
Good morning and blessings.
For phototrablogger’s Mundane Monday #144: switchboards.
This isn’t a switchboard. I had to look up the definition. Interesting….
For the Daily Prompt: horizon.
I am walking to work more often.
The lovely blue early morning ridge in the distance is cloud, not a ridge. Look: behind the town lies the water of the Salish Sea. The sky is clear above, but across the Sound the land is socked in. A front of clouds, visible.
