This is the yellow flowering bush that I’ve put up the last two days. It is blooming in Portland, Oregon. There are daffodils getting ready to bloom but most plants are not flowering yet.

A new friend in Portland last Friday. Her name is Ruby. She doesn’t know me so she is cautious about me, but she likes the warmth of my hand.

small beloved that I love
with my small body and soul
come in the yard and play with me
walls fall down
big Beloved that I love
that is all inside and out
come outside and play with me
walls fall down
small beloved that I love
you don’t love me back
I will love you anyhow
walls fall down
big Beloved that I love
loves me back no matter what
my heart opens like a door
walls fall down
small beloved that I love
blessings on your life
I will long to see your face
walls fall down
big Beloved that I love
let all walk in peace
loving kindness, safe and free
walls fall down
I took the photograph in Portland, Oregon. Walls… but this wall is around a school that is being rebuilt and the fence is to keep people out of the construction site, safe, and to protect the machinery and supplies for the repair. How do we balance safety and freedom, growth and kindness?
I took this in Portland, a couple months ago. Leaves down but fruit still on the tree, each with a droplet in the rain.

I took this in Portland. I was out during the day, so did not see any zombies.
For the Daily Prompt: Mystical.
Where will these stairs take me?
I took this walking around in Portland the first weekend in December. I like the colors, green to pale yellow and cream, leaves, VW and the tree. I don’t have cars that match my fall leaves but wish I did….
Walking around in Portland, Oregon, last weekend in the early morning.
