For Norm2.0’s Thursday doors.
I like the layers in this photo, while my mind tries to figure out what they all are. And more than one door!

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: plump. This turtle kinetic sculpture is not that plump….
Taken Saturday, at the water part of the Kinetic Sculpture Race. It is all human powered and they have to go out in the cold water, currently around 52 degrees F. Brrrrr. The teams have a brake test down Monroe Street first and then line up to head for the water. The Coast Guard stands ready and various kayaks and sailboats are there. They have to get to a destination and bring back the superhero(ine) mask!
The theme this year is mediocre superhero(ine)s. Lots of glitter and capes and boots. The costumes are wonderful!
To the women and men who are speaking up, there is nothing mediocre about your heroism.
Beach walk last night.
Prayers (and send money) for people at the earthquake and tsunami site, and that we do not have a new partisan emotionally uncontrolled person on our high court. And for all the people who have been silenced.
For Wordless Wednesday.
Distant zoom from the ferry.
For Mondane Monday #178, a light and dark theme. I like the combination of the silhouette with the reflection. I took this on the Seattle Bainbridge ferry Friday. I saw th reflection and then had to move around to catch the effect.
What combination of light and dark appeals to you?
Last weeks Mundane Monday was creature built.
Last weekend my Aunt Pat and my Uncle Jim were visiting all the way from Virginia. It was lovely. On Sunday morning we hiked the beach, from Chetzemoka Park out to the lighthouse and back. It went from early am fog to sun during the hike.

Taken with my cell phone last night. My phone wants to adjust the color, but I don’t like the “enhanced” photographs. If all the photographs are “enhanced”, we will lose touch with reality.
