Distant zoom from the ferry.
For Mondane Monday #178, a light and dark theme. I like the combination of the silhouette with the reflection. I took this on the Seattle Bainbridge ferry Friday. I saw th reflection and then had to move around to catch the effect.
What combination of light and dark appeals to you?
Last weeks Mundane Monday was creature built.
Taken with my cell phone last night. My phone wants to adjust the color, but I don’t like the “enhanced” photographs. If all the photographs are “enhanced”, we will lose touch with reality.
I have been posting lots of photographs of the color of water at Lake Matinenda, but I have water at home too. This is an early morning on my way to work. The boats were gathering for the Wooden Boat Festival and the sun was just above the horizon.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt #75: blue.
We are having fire skies, with the sun setting through smoke, here. I took this blue photo at the same time in the evening, the polarized light acting oddly through the smoke. It enhanced the reds and the blues. The smoke makes me feel low level worry all the time and sad.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: zest.
I picked the photograph, taken off the dock in Port Townsend in 2017, before reading the prompt. It doesn’t fit the prompt. Oh, yes, it does, it’s the color. Quite gorgeous to watch slowly swimming along.

On a foggy day.

And the opposite shore and even the ferry, can only sometimes be seen.

For Norm2.0’s Thursday doors. Norm is currently gone for two weeks,Β but I am posting anyhow… a creature of habit. I took this downtown two days ago. All the windows are tall enough to be doors.
For Mindlovesmisery’s Menagarie Heeding haiku:Β cooling down.
