I got Sol Duc and Elwha as very small kittens, 2 pounds and 1.7 pounds, in fall 2021.

These are from September of 2022. Siblings and bunk beds.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: pets!
Elwha is asleep on my lap. I am the one purring because he is out.

Here is Sol Duc splooting as a kitten, in October 2021. It was not very hot, but she did like to lie that way.
She also did the opposite of splooting. Is there an unsploot?

Elwha is more of a “rub my belly” type. He means it and will not ambush you. He doesn’t bite but just does full throttle purring for belly rubs. He also is not supposed to be on the table.

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: splooting.
Why would I need a weapon? I have two fierce watch cats. Sol Duc exploring and leading the way, while Elwha could stun an intruder with his very loud purr. Sixteen pounds of warm, vibrating fur.

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: weapon.
The Ragtag Daily Prompt today is starburst. Candy or sky? Hmmmm.
And then I have Elwha on my lap. He has the loudest purr. He purrs like a starburst.
For today’s Ragtag Daily Prompt.
The kittens were both two pounds and a bit when I got them. Last Thursday they got their last set of vaccines for a year and they are now both six pounds. They are growing like weeds. My last cat was a small cat. If the stated age was right when I got them, these two are going to be BIG.
I go to the guest bed to take a nap. I reach for the blanket and touch… fur.Β I recoil. Boa cat wakes and blinks at me.
She looks so warm that I go curl up on the couch.
This for photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #86.
