Fog watch
I was thinking of photrablogger when I took this in Arlington, Virginia in August. This is for photrablogger’s Mundane Monday Challenge #80. We are really in fall on Washington State now and have a big storm rising. I will check my boat today and am carefully not parking under the apple tree that I think could come down…..
Sunrise, August 25th, 2016. I like the slightly grainy background and the sharp greenery in the foreground… and the boat hoist, abstract and empty. The hoist would loom, but the sky is so much bigger.
Taken this morning 20 minutes before sunrise.
Another photograph from Deception Pass, just when the sun came out…
Still at Deception Pass. It was a rainbow weekend.
Returning from taking my daughter to Bellingham to start college at Western Washington University, I stopped at Deception Pass. The rainbow showed up on the way back to the car… It is so pretty it doesn’t seem real, but it was, and taken with my cell phone! I will miss my daughter at school, but look! There are still rainbows!
I took this in Arlington, Virginia, as we walked back to my friend’s house on my recent visit. I have known him for 30 years and it was a delight to visit them. I stopped and quickly snapped this because the trees were so beautiful lit…
This is for the Daily Post Photo Challenge: Rare.
I had my morning coffee on Sunday in the tree house, very early. Coffee is not so rare but having it in a tree house is not common for me!
We have three of the four roof panels in place, but the fourth will have tricky cutouts to accommodate the tree. I love the clear roof panels that let in the light. I can watch the leaves and the tree move through it. We have a window that fits in the open space, but took it down to paint the outside…..so far I have not had time….
