Back to the park!
For Cee’s Flower of the Day.
The view from the park on a beautiful day.

Yesterday we had snow in the morning for about an hour and a half. The lower part of the magnolia is still tight buds, but the lichens and mosses look very green and healthy and happy! Spring here is sometimes very long and in fits and starts.

My magnolia is poised to explode into bloom, but is waiting, waiting, waiting. It was 38 degrees yesterday morning.

My camellia is not fractal, but the pattern of the petals is still mesmerizing.

Back to Chetzemoka Park yesterday. More things are blooming and Cee’s close ups are influencing me!

My camillia has some blossoms now, but for the most part it is still shy! Usually it blooms in February and sometimes even January, but this year it feels like the blossoms are hovering. When will the weather warm a little? This bloom is buried in the plant, but the surface buds are still waiting.

Back from a week in Michigan and I have daffodils! The cherry trees are blooming and the plums are close behind! Spring is trying to spring here!
