burnt

This is for photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #129.

We were two of the three first responders to a house fire across the street and two doors down two weekends ago. The house was an inferno when we got there. Both the resident and two cats got out. The fire was in the morning. We returned in the evening and walked around. It is terrifying to see what melts, what explodes, how fast the destruction can happen.

And sending love to the injured and lost in Las Vegas and still thinking of all of the hurricane victims.

I wish today were mundane.

  1. Glad everyone escaped the fire and is okay!

  2. Melting and blistering too. Makes for great textures.

Besides burning it looks like there is also melting and exploding.

  4. I have a hunch you are a “sensate”. If so, I can relate. All I can handle this week is Tom Petty. The rest will have to wait for my attention or I will crash my internal system. Do take care of yourself.

hmmmm, now I have to look up “sensate”. Got a definition link?

Of thinking, feeling, intuition and sensing, my most difficult and most buried was feeling. Thinking and intuition were the strongest, then sensing got developed and feeling last. Of course, one is never “done” as far as I know.
