Not a lot of trunk space to stow things in this fabulous Kinetic Sculpture. Remember, it has to go by land, by sea and by mud bog.

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: stow.

We are half way through the Great Port Townsend Bay Kinetic Sculpture Race.

Yesterday was the Parade and the Brake Test and the Bribing of Judges and the Going Full Speed No Brakes into Port Townsend Bay and then paddling or floating or somehow getting out. And the glorious Kinetic Ball and Krowning of the Kween!
Today, so many more events! The race up the winding hill and then the Mud Bog at the fair grounds! The Teddy Bear trebuchet! More Bribes! And the coveted “most mediocre” award!

Blessings on all the Kinetic Kops for keeping everyone from being run over and for everyone who contributed! The Chimacum High School Marching Band and the Unexpected Brass Band added to the festivities!

For the Ragtag Daily Prompts: ribbon and red and yellow.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: ebullient.
I took this at the Great Port Townsend Bay Kinetic Sculpture Race. This is not part of the race, but our local school Robotics team, showing how many balls their robot can shoot into the air. I think the yellow balls look ebullient and the small observer is entranced. She is probably writing programs by now.
For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: coterie.
I love the Great Port Townsend Bay Kinetic Sculpture Race.
There certainly is an in crowd, a coterie, but everyone is welcome! Hapless tourists wondering what the heck is happening are protected by the virtuous and kostumed Kinetic Kops. The sculptures have to go by land, by sea and through mud. Some of them are heavy and with the silly costumes people forget to stay out of the way! The sculptures have a water test and a brake test, down a steep hill. There is a parade, competitive bribery of judges and fierce competition to win the Most Mediocre!
