This is a bonsai, a fig tree. BUT this season, it is sporting two pears. And a partridge. And two doves? And some other birds? How surprising! Surprising pears and a surprising garden!

Most of our trees have dropped their leaves but not this one!

The rain and puddles will leach the colors from these leaves, but they haven’t yet. The leaves have escaped the garden into the street.

A tree on the Larry Scott Trail, with no nearby houses, has these blooms.
