Last evening my daughter and I were on the Kitsap Peninsula for a kayak excursion. The sunset was gorgeous. Then the mosquitoes came out: itchy. We were happy once we were in our boat!

I think itโs a really bad drought when you miss the mosquitoes, but yeah, worrisome.
Ah — Teddy and I went for a walk. Some cloud cover, soft breeze, then the deer flies emerged…
Ow. They are worse than mosquitoes!
