Lovely photo. Looks a lot like my Lucy in her younger days. At 20, she still sleeps in the same position, but she’s clearly older, bony, and with less glossy fur.

The perfect scene!
I’ve gone for weeks now without more than an occasional thought of the dear, departed Dixie Rose but this one brought tears to my eyes. She did love to sleep in the sun, and I loved seeing her there. Amazing what can trigger emotions.
Ah, I am sorry about your Dixie Rose. This is Boa: Boa Black or Boa Constrictor or Feather Boa, depending on everyone’s moods. She is 12 now and doing well. When we picked her up at the pound, she purred when touched.
