Door into light

I am submitting this to Norm 2.0’s Thursday Doors. Maybe it’s a doorway, but then a way leads somewhere, doesn’t it? Does a door have to have a door or does a doorway count?

    Poetic licence, Dr Katherine – the essence of doors are that they show us the way to pass to another place, which may be visible or invisible to the observer. Great photograph.

    I wonder that too but consider a doorway to be a door!

    i’ve always gone by the creed that the absence of a door or what was once a door is still a door. splendid catch of shifting shades and convergene lines of the horizon with the lines of the structure.

    I sometimes saw the sky as a door way leading to somewhere that isn’t just heaven but a place of peace and forgiveness for everyone.
