Guess who really really likes the pineapple sage plant?

Taken today for Cee’s Flower of the Day. Taken in the yard I share with the local plants and bees and squirrels and birds. I try to discourage the deer from the front yard.
I have a very happy pineapple sage plant. It does not care that my street is a bit of a wind tunnel up from sea level. The roses don’t like the wind howling up and tomatoes really hate it. It is happily putting out new leaves even though we could have more freezing weather and even snow and snot and ice. (Snot was a typo, but it comes with snow and ice, right?) No flowers yet but soon and soon.

I have pineapple sage in my yard and it is SO HAPPY. It grows huge and blooms like crazy every year.

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt: sage.
I took this in Arizona in 2015. I feel so lucky to be able to travel sometimes to such a different environment. Rather a contrast from here in the Pacific Northwest yesterday and today.

For the Ragtag Daily Prompt #52: time.
More sage then thyme here. It’s pineapple sage and it loves my garden….
