A legend and a should-be-a-legend! Before becoming moderately famous, Stanley Jordan busked on the streets here. A generation later, Josh Cohen (who is to the bass as Stanley Jordan is to the guitar) also busked here. I asked him if he knew Jordan and suggested they play string quartets together, each taking two parts (as Cohen plays Bach as well as jazz on the bass). He was intrigued, but I’m still waiting.
