Yesterday I put up the before shot. After: we have matching haircuts. I think my children look like seals with their hair short. I don’t look like a seal! Maybe an ermine? I don’t remember ever having my hair this short!

How fun!!!
And I see the Rhody Run t-shirt and have delightful memories! My best friend used to live in the house on the corner of Admiralty Way, where the run course would turn toward the Fort for the final incline. It’s right where a lot of folks, even the true runners, would get tired. So we set up speakers outside facing the hill, and would blast the Rocky Theme over and over…da da dum, da da dum… and the participants would cheer and get a second wind! Even the walkers would get energized and jog a bit right there.
So fun, and definitely before your kids were born!!
People still play Rocky toward the end…..
How cool! I wonder if we started it?? What a kick!
Sure enjoy your blog!
Thank you! I’ll bet you did start it!
