We had very early snow on Sunday that melted as it warmed up. And under the snow is lichen and the wooden roof.

Hey – what’s my liver doing covering a bird house?!
Hmmm. Good question. Blackout?
Usually only on Tuesdays…and Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. So this is really odd.
too much lemoncello, I think…. the birds like your liver, though.
There can never be too much lemoncello!

My little sister died of cancer almost six years ago and I still really miss her and my parents.
I’m sure you do miss them. I’m sorry to hear of your loss. There is so little that can provide succor when tragedies of this magnitude strike, but I hope the pain at least lessens a bit as the years go by, to be replaced perhaps by the warmth of memories. All the best to you.
thank you very much
