My first thought on reading the title was the “other” kind of shingles. Glad to see your wood and photo!

OK — got me. But thank goodness. The last thing anyone needs is shingles. Well, except on a roof or building side.
But art can be anything….
Theoretically, but I’d never consider the shingles my mother lived with as artistic — although they did weave quite a pattern around her body. :-)
….now my imagination is taking off. I see shingles in the air, controlled by your mother’s Jedi like powers. Or shingles on an older house, that needed more maintenance then she had energy for….
