I have a double lot and I don’t mow the second one. There are two plum trees and an apple tree, and the local deer love it. I may fence more off for more fruit trees, but it’s nice to share plums.

With us, it’s our APPLES. I live part time in Bellevue, WA and it is NOT a place many would associate with horses, deer, coyotes, bunnies, raccoons, but we have them all! I like sharing my fruit also but have to debate with my newer neighbors about killing, trapping, and otherwise disturbing the animal population whose territory we have taken over.
