This is for Photrablogger’s Mundane Monday #62. I have a Little Free Library built into my fence. There is a bench that goes through the fence. Sometimes I put out a carafe of coffee. On the back is a small table that folds down. Now that the sun is getting up so early, I am often out there watching the dawn….
The red rose has been there for years, but never bloomed until this summer and last summer, because the deer ate the buds as fast as they formed. The deer have come in once when we left the gate open, but we’ve been careful since then.
You certainly made an attractive corner there. We have a Little Free Library around the corner and they tell me especially the kids like it, which I find very encouraging. I frequently pass by and drop a book or take one that looks interesting to me. Such a sympathetic idea, and great that you made one so inviting.
I had someone in a local store tell me yesterday that she got two books from it that she really enjoyed and asked if they were mine…. no… things go in and out without me seeing them!
That’s the good thing of it, that many different persons participate.

This is a beautiful morning view. The busy yet colourful frame is lovely. Everything is perfectly composed.
(blushes) thank you
haha.. Blushing is good :D
I love the idea behind the Little Fee Library and have collected a few books to drop off in similar places when we begin our travels soon. I’ll be staggered if i come across any as stylish and friendly as yours though.
Awwww… I think we have five in town now, and mine inspired the fifth one. They invited me to a grand opening of theirs but I did not make it. I’ve found four of them….
I like the mix of books, it is fun to watch what turns up and I try to keep some good kid’s books in there for passing kids….
I’ve done the swap in caravan parks and have enjoyed books I would never have bought. Swapping is a great idea.
