All of these graduates at Washington State University, done, finished. Perhaps they were truants here and there, slept in, skipped a class, were out sick, learned from the book or on line. But they are done!

    In the play “You Can’t Take it With You”, there is a character who attends graduation ceremonies as a form of entertainment. As he returns from commencement at Columbia University, he talks about the impressive graduating class: “Musta been a whole acre of ’em! And much funnier speeches than they had last year.”
