Itchy feathers… now, just hold still and pose for me. This zoom lens wears me out.
Meanwhile, there are the tour barges going by on Riverwalk and lots of people going by on foot and outdoor tables. No one but me is staring at the higher branches of the tree.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain!

I smiled at the scratching birdie, and then I smiled again at your off-handed comment about the zoom lens wearing you out. Due to a broken camera, then work, then Hurricane Harvey, I hadn’t been out with my camera and lenses for over a month. Oh, woe! And when I went out last Sunday, I realized how much the muscles in my hands and wrists had atrophied. It’s time to start “pumping cameras” again.
ooooo, then we can compare our strong camera muscles. We’ll have to have a zoom muscle photo show off day….
